Highly absorbent and reusable training mat
As some of you know, we have two poodles, Jolie (4 years old) and Badoo (3 years old), who for your luck (mainly during the Canadian winter) and contrarily the Canadian habits, they do pee and poop inside your apartment on a pet pad.
In Brazil we always used disposable pads because I didn’t have a sustainable option.Upon arriving in Montreal and seeing the prices of pet pads, the old desire to use more sustainable option was awakened.
So Maicon found washable pet pad in the Amazon, and it was a saving on our bank account and our planet.
But before you think “it probably has a terrible smell”, I warn you, my dogs don’t eat dog food, they eat natural food – BARF food (subject for another post), so their pee and poop don’t have the same strong smell, as my mon’s dogs, for example. During the summer, when they drink less water (and pee less) we don’t need to change the mat everyday. However, for those gods who eat dog food and their pee has a strong smell is required change it everyday.
The model that we bought is superabsorbent.
